What will I have to do?

The process is really simple. After our Representative has assessed your requirements, we provide the iShred Document Bin and the agreed schedule. All you need to do is educate your staff on what you want to go into the bins and the rest is taken care of. Full compliant with the Australian Privacy Principals (APP 11.37).

Can I watch?

You certainly can. The iShred truck is equipped with CCTV, the entire process can be viewed and within minutes its finished. It’s pretty cool, if we do say so ourselves and is oddly satisfying to watch secure document destruction in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

And it all gets recycled?

That’s right. Here at iShred, our business model identifies the end result of our services, and in line with our “Green“ Policy, the end product is recycled through reputable paper recyclers. The product will not go to landfill.

What if we do not have a bin?

That’s fine, we can cater for you, all we ask that you advise us when booking your secure document destruction melbourne collection.

 

What you CAN put in the Secure Bin

  • Bank statements

  • Cancelled or voided cheque books

  • Credit card bills and credit reports

  • Customer information (names, addresses, buying cycles)

    • Plastic sleeves

    • Plastic binders

    • Plastic covers

  • Garbage, tissues, or food wrappers

  • Foil or foil-coated paper

  • Wax-coated paper

  • Paper bags or drink cartons

  • Polystyrene

  • Non-paper fibre waste

  • Carbon paper

  • Tissues

  • Empty arch-lever folders

  • Hanging files

Items That Must Be Kept Separate (Not in the Secure Bin)

  • X-rays

  • Hard drives

  • CDs

  • Credit cards

  • ID cards

Secure destruction for these items is available at our facility. Please keep them separate from paper shredding bins.

What else can you destroy?

Is there any cost for the bin?
